Owen Good
born in Northern Ireland, is a translator of Hungarian poetry and prose. He is an editor at Hungarian Literature Online and The Continental Literary Magazine. His work has been published in Modern Poetry in Translation, Ploughshares and The Poetry Review. His most recent book translation is Zsolt Láng’s surreal short story collection The Birth of Emma K. (University of Chicago Press, 2023). He will next publish Pál Závada’s novel Market Day, which explores and dissects the events surrounding a pogrom in a Hungarian village in 1946.
