Daniela Seel
born in Frankfurt am Main in 1974, lives as a poet, translator and publisher of kookbooks in Berlin and teaches now and then. She has published three volumes of poetry and a radio feature. She is currently working on her fourth volume of poetry, Nach Eden. Recent publications in translation include Alexis Pauline Gumb’s Unertrunken (Aki, 2022) and Amanda Gorman Call Us What We Carry (co-authored with Marion Kraft, Hoffmann und Campe, 2022). Daniela Seel has received many awards for her work, such as the Mondsee Poetry Prize, the Friedrich-Hölderlin-Förderpreis of the city of Bad Homburg, the Lotto Brandenburg Art Prize for Literature and the top prize at the 1st German Publishing Prize 2019.
