Rita Süveges
is a visual artist based in Budapest. Her interdisciplinary, research-based practice is twofold, dealing with the feminist critique of techno-scientific imaginaries in both community-knowledge-sharing projects and white cube installative shows. Her main motif is to re-politicize environmental issues in a societal understanding through the imaginative power of art. Her past residencies include Cité Paris, ISCP New York, Meetfactory Prague, MQ AIR Vienna, shows in Ludwig Museum Koblenz, Off-Biennale Budapest etc.. She is enrolled in the Doctorate program of HUFA. She is also a co-founder of xtro realm artist group, editor and author of extrodæsia and the Climate Imaginary Reader.
