Tamara (Tam) Zimet
is the Programme Director (Adults) at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. Before moving to Scotland, she was the Associate Director at the Sydney Writers’ Festival, and the founding director of Broadside, a festival of feminist ideas based at the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. She has worked in a range of arts and not-for-profit roles, and has judged literary prizes including the Stella Prize – a major literary award celebrating Australian women’s writing. Tam is on the board of Stellar Quines, an intersectional theatre company in Scotland.
