Anne Thomas
was born in Karl-Marx-Stadt in 1988 and grew up in Flensburg after fleeing the German Democratic Republic in 1989. She has been living and working as a freelance translator in Paris since 2013, with regular stays in Berlin and London. She is mainly active in the cultural field, acts in theatre herself and loves translating literature. A welcome balance to the solitary work at her desk are assignments as an interpreter at readings and conferences as well as conducting translation workshops at schools.
