Anni Domingo

is an actress, director and author who works a lot for radio, television, film and theatre. Her poetry and short stories have been published in various anthologies. Her debut novel Breaking the Maafa Chain (Jacaranda Books, 2021) was shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish College Fiction Prize and longlisted for the 2019 Mslexia Novel Competition, and she won a place on the Hedgebrook Writers in Residence programme in Seattle and the Escalator programme at the National Writing Centre in Norwich. She is currently working on her second novel Ominira as part of her PhD at Kings College London.
