Enrica Fei

is a translator, writer and researcher. She translates from Arabic, French and English into Italian and is currently working on a translation of the Bahraini poet Ahmed al-Ajmi. As a researcher, she works for the University of the Armed Forces, where she is also completing her doctoral thesis on Shia identity and Iraqi-Iranian inter-state relations. She publishes articles and short stories in Italian literary magazines. She works for the project Tradurre in classe (Translating in school), which is linked to the BookMarchs festival and was launched by the translator Stella Sacchini, and invites immigrant students in Italian secondary schools to translate from their languages of origin into Italian.
