Gregor Moder

is a research associate at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Ljubljana. He is the author of Comic Love: Shakespeare, Hegel, Lacan (DTP, 2015, in Slovenian), Hegel and Spinoza: Substance and Negativity (Northwestern UP, 2017), Antigone. An Essay on Hegel’s Political Philosophy (FDV, 2023, in Slovenian), and an anthology on The Object of Comedy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020). He is a co-founder of Aufhebung – International Hegel Association and served as its first president (2014-2020). He is currently co-editor of The Ethics of Ernst Lubitsch (under contract with Rowman & Littlefield).
