Mariana Dimópulos

was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a writer and translator. She teaches translation theory at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has been a visiting professor at the Universities of Saarland and Halle-Wittenberg and a Research Fellow at the University of Bonn. She has translated authors such as Walter Benjamin, Theodor W. Adorno and most recently J. M. Coetzee, with whom she collaborates on various projects. She has published the novels Quemarelcielo (Adriana Hidalgo, 2019), Pendiente (Adriana Hidalgo, 2013), Cada despedida (Adriana Hidalgo, 2010) and Anís (Entropía, 2008), as well as a study on Walter Benjamin (2017). Her books have been translated into English, Portuguese and Greek.
