Mark Tumba

was born in Zanzibar in 1995 and moved to Hagen in Westphalia in 1999. He had his first performances at the Stadttheater Hagen and then at the Rottstrasse 5 Theatre in Bochum. From 2017 he studied acting at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. In the 2019-20 season he was in the productions Zeit aus den Fugen and Antigone. Ein Requiem. at the Staatstheater Hannover. In 2019 he received the award for best male performer at the FIESAD theatre festival in Rabat, Morocco. Since the 2021-22 season he has been permanently engaged at Schauspiel Frankfurt, where he has worked with Claudia Bauer, Nuran David Calis, Sebastian Schug, Data Tavadze and Timofej Kuljabin, among others.
