Wiam El-Tamami
is an Egyptian writer, Arabic-English translator, editor and wanderer. She has spent many years moving between different cultures and communities in the Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia and North America. She writes non-fiction, fiction and micro-stories that blur the lines between the two. Her writing and translations have been published in Granta, Freeman’s, Social Movement Studies, Jadaliyya, Alif, Banipal, Craft and Ploughshares (forthcoming), as well as several anthologies.
